To make provisions and take sustainable initiatives for igniting and enlightening the minds of youths through equitable access to higher education.

  • Stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research in higher education institutions.
  • Facilitate access to Higher Education with equity to all the eligible persons - particularly to the depraved and vulnerable sections of society.
  • Expand access by supporting existing institutions and encouraging Trusts and Societies to establish new institutions.
  • Initiate policies and programmes for strengthening research and innovations in the Institutions.
  • Engage in stretching the frontiers of knowledge throughresearch studies, consultancy and training programmes.
  • To collaborate with stakeholders for promotion and sustenance of quality in higher education.
  • Promote the quality of Higher Education by periodic academic reforms and by improving governance in affiliated institutions.
